Welcome to Chasing Daylight Photography. I’m so happy you’re here.
I’m a natural light portrait photographer in San Diego, CA specializing in family, maternity, engagement, & lifestyle sessions, with an emphasis in capturing authentic moments & beautiful backlighting.
I strive to give my clients a fun & relaxed experience by capturing both candid & posed images, giving gentle direction & prompts as needed so my clients feel comfortable, but not interfering with their natural family dynamic.
My clients walk away from their session feeling like they just had a blast, and realizing that the experience of their photoshoot was just as important as the end result.
Truth be told, that end result is pretty dang awesome though. These photos aren’t just heirlooms. They’re your legacy. They’re a time capsule to the excitement you felt as an engaged couple. Or the fleeting weeks before you became parents. Or the gap-toothed grins of your seven year old.
Anyone can capture what it looks like. I want to capture what it feels like, too.
