We’re coming into the 7th month of “social distancing” now, and I can’t express how amazing it feels to be back at work in nature, breathing in the fresh air, and touching some trees. I love shooting at Mission Trails in Santee ( a suburb of San Diego) because it really feels like we’ve escaped. You would never know you’re pretty much right next to a freeway.

I’ve photographed this family since the oldest kiddo was in her mama’s belly, so it’s always a joy to see them every single year, almost a full decade later. I can never express my appreciation for these families who come to me year after year; it’s the most rewarding thing ever!
