San Diego Beach Photographer | Crystal Pier Family Photos

I know I’ve said it before, but I really REALLY love the Crystal Pier in Pacific Beach. It’s the perfect family photoshoot location in San Diego. Not only do we get to capture the beach, but the sun filtering through the wooden pier is SO pretty.

Although you might think bright, sunny skies are ideal photography conditions, they really aren’t. It can be hard to get evenly lit photos in those conditions. When we are able to use something (like a pier!) to block direct sun, we are able to get great light and also amazing backlight like you’ll see here. I’m so happy this family took advantage of this beach location for their San Diego family photoshoot!
