San Diego Beach Family Photos | Del Mar Photographer

Summer is finally over (HELLO FALL!) and the beaches are slowwwwwwwly clearing out. That water is starting to get pretty dang cold. Which is bad news for beachgoers, but great news for San Diego photographers! Of course we still have weekend crowds, but it’s a great time to schedule a beach family photo shoot!

For this awesome family, we chose Powerhouse Park in Del Mar as our backdrop. We started at the trail up on the cliffs for some greenery & variety (and beautiful coastal views) and then headed down to the sand. I love photographing families with 3 kids, I feel like it brings such variety & playfulness to our shoots. We had so much fun during this sunset session; I'm excited to share with you below!
