Ok; I’ll admit it. I am NOT a morning person. I never ever have been. You know those kids who wake up really early ready to start their day? That was NOT me. So when I get requests for morning beach sessions it’s usually a little painful to say yes, especially because we usually have to start EARLY (like 6:30 or 7 AM) for best light.

But EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I do a morning beach session, it’s magical. Parking is a breeze, the beach is empty, and watching the world wake up as waves come crashing in isn’t exactly horrible. This shoot was no exception! We chose Torrey Pines State Beach for the location for this family photoshoot, and it was such a beautiful backdrop for our early morning shoot. Check it out!
