Windansea Beach | San Diego Family Photographers

Windansea Beach is one of my favorite places in La Jolla, but it’s so tricky to schedule! First off, the tide has to be pretty low. Secondly, there’s a TON of extra sand here this year, making the cliffs pretty much nonexistent, which means the beach has been totally taken over by sunbathers & beach-goers… so it gets BUSY. I loooooove early morning shoots here though, and that’s what this family opted for. You can see we had the whole place to ourselves! I know it’s not easy getting ready for a 7 AM shoot but I promise it’s worth it. Plus, La Jolla has so many amazing breakfast spots, it’s a great excuse to treat yourself before heading home!
