Mills Family Trip 2021 | Yosemite Family Photos

This summer, my family took a trip to Yosemite National Park. It was such an amazing spot; I haven’t been in about 20 years, and my husband & I already can’t wait to go back. Of course I knew I wanted to get some great portraits of my kids with Yosemite as the backdrop, so I made it a point to bring my camera along on some of our hikes & wanderings. It’s SO hard to photograph my own kids… my clients always marvel at my patience but when it comes to my own kids, that patience can disappear at times. They did so well for these photos though; I’m so pleased with them!

I’d LOVE to photograph more families at epic locations like this. In fact, I’ve been working on something for the past couple years where I’d be able to provide family photo shoots at breathtaking locations like this. If that sounds like something you’d be into, I’d love to chat logistics! I’ll need some guinea pigs to get it off the ground.
